Nestled inside the design district, Dumpling Time is extremely accessible. The restaurant wasn't too busy on a Monday night for dinner and has a nice straightforward menu with lots of essentials. I wasn't able to get a picture of everything but the xiao long bao, and shrimp balls especially stood out to me. The chili pork dumplings and pan fried pork bao were standard fare but nothing too dazzling. I do wish they had pan-seared dumplings here like the ones at Dumpling Home and Mini Potstickers. I have to make a special mention to our server who was phenomenal from the moment we walked up to the host counter. I didn't get his name but he was a tall asian man with hair up in a ponytail. He was extremely prompt with everything and had the perfect pacing with coordinating our meal along with clearing the table when needed. What a way to take care of your guests especially when the small table square footage is out of your control. Props

Came here multiple times with my coworkers whenever we're in the office. Love this place! Decided to bring my mom and grandma here to do an early mother's day brunch since we have a dog. This place has outdoor sitting with heater (if you're cold). We got here around 11:30 and ordered multiple items to share. Unfortunately, the King Dum (big xiaolongbao) was sold out. If you want to try this then recommend to come here at 11 (open time).

I absolutely LOVED this spot in SF. So much so, I had it twice before I left! This was my favorite spot while visiting for about 7 days. I ordered on doordash to the hotel, which is why I'm even more impressed. I tried the crispy vegetable spring rolls, asian green salad, steamed bbq pork buns and trio of buns dessert buns. WOW! Idk, everything I ordered was amazing, perfectly cooked, perfect textures and flavors. The Asian green salad was definitely a flavor explosion and very fresh. My absolute favorite item though were the steamed bbq pork buns, oooooommmmmgggggggg! These were the best I had while in SF. The were perfectly prepared in my book. I loved this so much I ordered it on last time the night before we flew out. They were just as good! They spring rolls were great and had a really good sauce with it for dipping. So good. I liked the trio of buns, but the flavor wasn't what I imagined it would be. I don't think I knew what to expect and I'm not sure how I feel about them. But I would try them again. Overall, reeeeeally loved this spot and highly recommend!

This is one of the best dumpling places ever! The servers give you a menu on a piece of paper that you can tally next to the options how many of each you would like. They bring out each dish as they are ready so each item is piping hot and fresh! You can always add on more items if you are still hungry after all your food comes. The restaurant is somewhat small but it adds to the ambiance and small-restaurant vibe. There is often a wait time since the restaurant is so popular! I recommend the hot tea, pork buns, and gyoza!
